Call Senate Judiciary: "Americans must have a shot at US jobs on US soil."

Senators are fixing the H1-b law to give Americans the first crack at high-tech jobs. Senator Durbin is firm on this point: all companies must offer the US job to qualified Americans first.

But Senators Hatch and Lee, both Republicans from Utah who sit on the Judiciary Committee, want to remove the first chance we've had in 23 years to compete for US jobs on US soil.  Tech companies and the US Chamber are behind them.

NO-HELP-WANTED-A.jpgWhile the Senators below support the fix, they need to hear from us. Please call and tell them: "Keep H1-b provisions that give Americans a shot at US jobs on US soil."

Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) 202-224-3841
Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) 202-224-2921
Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) 202-224-3244
Al Franken (D-MN) 202-224-5641
Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) 202-224-2823

Please keep H1-b provisions that give Americans a shot at US jobs on US soil. There is plenty of American workers to do these jobs, we do not need to recruit from India or anywhere else in the world.. America First..

Got thru to Klobuchar & Blumenthal office. Blumenthal’s aide appreciated hearing this support. Feinstein, Whitehouse, Franken lines were busy. I will keep trying throughout the day.
