Support the Department of Justice

Support the Department of Justice in their work to help give Americans--of all colors and flavors--a shot to fill jobs we are qualified to do in our own country.

Now you know the secret: US companies do not need to first seek qualified workers before looking to fill the positions with foreign citizens from abroad... even worse, they can displace the current workforce with these workers.

The Department of Justice is using their powers.

Make a difference right now and sign our petition to the Department of Justice to continue it's work to punish employers that post discriminatory job ads and prosecute employers that are warehousing unemployed foreign techies awaiting temp jobs in America.

Prosecution: Dibon Solutions - Texas

Punishment: Avant Healthcare - Florida

"D.O.J, keep prosecuting and punishing businesses that don't obey American laws.  Cracking down on these despicable employers restores our faith in the American Way - that right overcomes might and common decency prevails."

The problem is not enforcement. The problem is too many H-1B Visas. As long as they can pay 25% less for the same job, they will find ways to hire them. They will accept U.S. resumes, they will interview them, and they will ultimately find ways to exclude them and hire the cheap H-1 labor that they are after.

The only solution is to restrict the number of Visas and allow wages to rise so more U.S. citizens get training and pursue these careers. With wages falling, fewer and fewer go into these careers and more drop out.

Address the growing poverty across the US, and support sustainable energy sources like solar, geothermal, and wave energy, along with small organic farmers. Retrain long-term unemployed Americans, and be sure American citizens are given top priority in jobs, and quality health care. End tax havens, abolish Taft Hartley, support real living wages, and genuine quality health care, (not regressive insurance mandates) by expanding and opening Medicare with a Medicare for All-Single Payer system. Impose a Wall Street speculation tax, reinstate Gass Steagall, and overturn Citizens United.

This petition is supporting a proposal to allow student debt to be re-fianced when interest rates are lower. This is what we allow for mortgage debt; we need this for student debt too!
